Professional Exterior House Painting in Southeast Portland

Project Overview

This exterior painting project was completed for a homeowner in Southeast Portland, Oregon. The property is a two-story craftsman-style home built in the 1940s that needed full exterior repainting after years of weather exposure and peeling paint.

Scope of Work

Our team completed the following tasks:

• Full power washing of all exterior surfaces

• Hand scraping and sanding of all peeling and deteriorated paint

• Spot priming of bare wood areas

• Caulking of all gaps around windows, doors, trim and siding joints

• Application of full bonding primer coat

• Two finish coats on all siding, fascia, soffits and trim

• Careful masking of windows, fixtures and landscaping

The homeowner chose a classic Portland color palette — a warm gray body with crisp white trim and charcoal black accents on the front door, shutters and window sashes. This combination complements the craftsman architectural details while giving the home a clean, modern curb appeal.

Project Timeline

The full project was completed in 4 working days:

1. Day 1 — Power washing and surface preparation

2. Day 2 — Scraping, sanding, caulking and priming

3. Day 3 — First finish coat on all surfaces
