Zurc Construction LLC ("Zurc Construction", "we", "us") is a licensed general contractor serving Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what information we collect through zurcconstruction.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us
- Estimate and contact requests: first and last name, email, phone number, ZIP code, type of service, project timeline, your comments, and any photos you choose to attach.
- Calls, texts, WhatsApp and email: whatever you share when you contact us directly.
- Push notifications: only if you turn them on, we store an anonymous device token (through Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you project updates and blog posts.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we receive technical information when you visit: pages viewed, device and browser type, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We collect this through Google Analytics and, if you accept cookies, the advertising pixels described below.
Information stored on your device
The site saves your light/dark theme, your cookie choice, notification badge counts, and cached files so it can work offline as an installable app. These stay in your browser (local storage, IndexedDB and the service-worker cache) and you can clear them at any time.
How we use information
- To answer your request, prepare an estimate, and schedule or perform work.
- To understand how the site is used and to make it faster and easier to use.
- To measure our advertising and to show Zurc Construction ads to people who visited the site.
- To keep the site secure and to meet legal and contractual obligations.

Clicking Decline in the banner keeps the advertising pixels from loading. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences. If you clear your browser data, the banner will ask for your choice again.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business and the site, such as:
- Website hosting and email delivery providers.
- Google (Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging and, when enabled, Google Ads).
- Meta, if you accept cookies and the Meta Pixel loads.
- Professionals who need it to advise us, and authorities when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Advertising and your choices
Some state privacy laws treat sharing data with advertising partners as "targeted advertising" or "sharing." You can opt out at any time by choosing Decline in the cookie banner or by contacting us. You can also ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you.
How long we keep information
We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to serve you, run the business, and meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit who can access the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is meant for homeowners and businesses, not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
The site links to Google, Yelp, Houzz, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and WhatsApp. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
